Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What Do I Need to Do to Complete a Nutrition Education (SNE) Lesson Online?
Select the right category for you or your infant/child. For example, if you are a pregnant woman, select the "Pregnant Moms" or "General" category. Then select the lesson you would like to complete, and follow the instructions. At the end of the lesson you will be asked to complete a short evaluation and submit it. When you submit the evaluation, you will see a lesson completion page that contains a code for the lesson. Print out this page or write down the code. Bring it to your next WIC pick-up or SNE visit to receive SNE credit.
What If I Don't Have a Printer Available?
If a printer is unavailable, write down the name of the lesson and code number and bring that to your next WIC pick-up or SNE visit.
How Many Online Lessons Do I Need to Complete to Get Credit for an SNE Visit?
To get credit, you only need to complete one lesson prior to your SNE visit.
Do I Need to Complete a Specific Online Lesson?
You can select any lesson that interests you as long as it is from a category that is suitable for you or your infant/child.
Can I Complete More Than One Online Lesson?
Yes. However, you cannot use the same lesson code for more than one SNE visit.
What Should I Do If the Online Lessons Are Not Working Properly?
The online lessons do not usually have problems. However, if they are not working properly or are inaccessible, please call us at 334-206-5673 or 1-888-WIC-HOPE (942-4673) and let us know what is not working. If you are unable to complete your lesson, you will still be able to receive your WIC food instruments at your next pick-up/SNE visit. However, you may be asked to complete an online lesson at the clinic or participate in a class instead.
