Annual Women's Health 5K Run and One-Mile Mother-Daughter Walk
The 7th Annual Women's Health 5K Color Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk, sponsored by the Office of Women’s Health Advisory Committee in partnership with the City of Homewood, the St. Vincent's Health System, Mommy and Me Time Fitness, and the Single Mothers Empowerment Conference, will be held on May 16, 2015, in Homewood, Alabama.
The 3rd Annual Women's Health 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run benefitting Girls on the Run, sponsored by the Office of Women’s Health Advisory Committee in partnership with the City of Montgomery, Baptist Health, Fleet Feet Sports, and the YMCA, will be held on May 2, 2015 in Montgomery, AL.
These events are designed to empower women to make their health a top priority, increase the awareness of women’s health issues and highlight resources that are available for health and wellness for women in the state of Alabama. Families as well as individual walkers and runners are encouraged to attend to support the health of women across Alabama.
