ALPHTN - On Demand January 20, 2010

The program Patient Information Leaflets: Discussion of Zithromax, Rocephin, Doxycycline, Erthromycin, Flagyl, and Bicillin L-A Broadcast will explore patient information leaflets for six of the more commonly dispensed medications in Alabama Department of Public Health clinics, and provide information as it relates to important medical conditions, medication contraindications, and precautions with these medications.

The program HPV and Cervical Cancer focuses on the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and cervical cancer. There are more than 100 types of HPV, and about a third can lead to cervical cancer. While cervical cancer incidence and mortality rates are decreasing among women in some racial and ethnic populations, trends show numbers continue to be high with African-American and Hispanic women.
